Alliance/Members Meeting – Expectations for the 2024 Democratic and Republican Conventions

Both the Democrat and Republican Conventions are coming. The Republican Convention will start July 15 in Minneapolis and the Democratic Convention will begin August 19 in Chicago. We all have expectations for these conventions. The primary purpose of these conventions is to present the platform for the November election. What expectations do you have for both conventions?
We will address our expectations for each convention in this workshop. To begin we will write down the basic topic we want our convention to address. In Phase II each party will draw a card and have a 3-5 min of comments focusing on the topic on that card while the other party listens to the discussion. Then visa versa. In Phase III we will divide into breakout sessions where each group will focus more on a specific topic. In Phase IV we will come back together and present our findings. In Phase V we will open the floor to question the other color.
