A Braver Angels Discussion: Trans Women in Female Sports

The participation of trans women in female sports is hotly debated issue. For some, it is simple and straightforward, for others it is complex and nuanced. For the women and trans women involved, it is lived experience. We will have a Braver Angels mutual listening discussion that will allow for a substantive exchange of views and a better understanding of the issue from both sides. There will be two parts. First, we will hear from speakers on both sides. Then, we will break into small facilitated groups where each person will have an equal opportunity to speak their views and hear the views of others. We will follow the principles of the Braver Way: to engage respectfully with the goal to understand and be understood. Mutual understanding is the goal, not finding the correct answer or reaching some consensus.
Currently we have enough facilitators for 20 participants. We may fill up. You will have the opportunity to be put on a waiting list in case spots open up.
