Pete Peterson is dean of Pepperdine University’s School of Public Policy where he also serves as a senior fellow of the school’s Davenport Institute for Public Engagement and Civic Leadership. Pete has trained thousands of local government officials in how to lead more effective public meetings, and writes widely on civic participation and civic education. He’s a former Republican nominee for California Secretary of State (2014), and serves on a number of nonprofit boards.
