Happy National Volunteer Week!
Braver Angels is powered by volunteers: everyday people who believe they have a role in bringing out the best in our country. And seeing our volunteers in action—giving their time and energy to bring together individuals who never dreamed they’d be in a room together—has buoyed me through all the political uncertainty.

What we can agree on: Ban on assault weapons; laws to make gerrymandering and voter suppression illegal felonies with serious prison time (these accepted practices is the real voter fraud); pregnancy is a serious woman’s health condition that should not be addressed by their legislators, nor the courts. Voting districts should not be drawn by legislators, nor partisan groups who install maps that prevents the public from removing representatives who are not serving their constituents.
