Acting Out: Transforming Conflict into Creativity

At the 2024 Braver Angels convention, 25 individuals of diverse backgrounds and political affiliations came together in a collaborative initiative between Braver Angels and New York Theatre Workshop called Mind the Gap. Through storytelling and theater, this unique program united us, fostering unity, empathy, and unexpected bonds while addressing challenging societal issues. The profound impact of this collaborative experience on participants and the equally powerful response from the audience underscores the potential for the arts to play an important part in healing our societal divisions.
