Our Closing Night Concert will end around 10pm on July 8th. Your rooms will be available to stay the night and leave the following morning on July 9th, at which time we will provide complimentary shuttle service back to Baltimore and Harrisburg.
All who apply and are accepted to the Convention are called delegates. Some delegates will come from Braver Angels local alliances and other Braver Angels leadership bodies. Others will come as representatives of civic, business, religious, service, educational, and other local and national organizations. Some will even be students from colleges, universities, and trade schools from all across the country.
Delegates will get to participate in four days of activities and events, beginning with an Opening Plenary on Wednesday, July 5, at 7:00 pm and conclude with a Concert on the evening of Saturday, July 8.
Delegates will have a large variety of events and activities to choose from throughout the Convention.
1. To ensure an equal balance of conservatives, progressives, and independents. This is why we ask you to indicate your political leaning when you register.
2. To ensure participation from many organizations.
3. To have a convention consisting of leaders first and foremost.
Those whose applications are accepted are called delegates. Some delegates will come from Braver Angels local alliances and other Braver Angels leadership bodies. Others will come as representatives of civic, business, religious, service, educational, and other local and national groups from across the country.
Basic registration is $400. It covers food, lodging on campus for four nights, parking, use of gym facilities, shared rides to and from airports and train stations, and participation in all convention activities.
For commuters who aren’t using accommodations offered by the College, registration is $300.
For students, registration is $200. However, the first 50 students accepted as delegates will be offered a full scholarship.
