On a Sunday evening in July of 2023, community members of Gettysburg gather for an annual ritual of remembering. Through memories and music, they transcend to a time and space occupied by those who came before them – reconnecting with their past to better understand themselves and their nation in a time of crisis.

Four Score is about Gettysburg, the American Story, and generational reflection. How do we remember? What stories and songs do we share? What does it mean to us today?

We will be premiering the play at our 2023 Braver Angels National Convention in Gettysburg, PA.

If you’ve ever wanted to get involved in the creation of an original play, here is your chance! We are looking for a broad range of performers who are eager to share stories.

We’re also looking for people to join the creative team! Directors, designers, dramaturgs, technicians – you name it!

If you would like to audition, please submit a 1-2 minute video performing a monologue from our collection. If you sing, please also submit a 30-60 second video performing your favorite American anthem (“The Star-Spangled Banner”, “My Country, Tis of Thee”, “This Land is Your Land”, etc.)
