Travel by Car

Parking is $22/day in the Liacouras Garage at Temple University. We strongly recommend parking on campus.

Travel by Airplane

Philadelphia International Airport (PHL) is a roughly 30-minute drive to campus.

SEPTA, Philadelphia’s metro train, runs directly from PHL to Temple University via the Airport Line (AIR). Tickets can be purchased at the airport and on-board the train. Visit the SEPTA website for more information.

Travel by Train

Philadelphia’s 30th Street Train Station is a roughly 20-minute drive to campus.

About Temple University

Temple University was founded as a night school in 1884 by Russell Conwell, then the pastor of Grace Baptist Church and a former soldier of the Union Army during the American Civil War. Housing

All delegates who pay for standard registration will be provided with basic on-campus housing for a 3-night stay (Thursday, Friday, and Saturday night) at Temple University.

Basic on-campus housing includes an air-conditioned suite-style dormitory with two shared bedrooms (two people per room) and two shared bathrooms. Linens provided.

Private bedrooms and apartment-style dormitories (with private bathrooms and kitchenettes) are available for additional costs.

Delegates will be able to choose their housing during the registration process.

If you’d prefer to stay off-campus, we have access to reduced rates at a few hotels in the area. Contact convention@braverangels.org for more information.

Media

During the Braver Angels 2026 National Convention, Braver Angels and its representatives may take photographs, audio recordings, and video recordings of delegates, presenters, and activities. These photographs, audio recordings, and video recordings may be used by Braver Angels for various purposes, including but not limited to promotional materials, marketing campaigns, social media, and websites. By attending the convention, you assume the risk that you may be included in photographs or recordings.
