The 2020 Braver Angels National Convention will be held from Thursday, May 28th to Sunday, May 31st on the campus of UNC-Charlotte in Charlotte, North Carolina.
The Convention officially begins at 4pm on Thursday and ends the evening of Saturday night. A wide variety of optional programming will be offered on Thursday afternoon starting at 1pm, as well as on Sunday morning until noon. New members are strongly encouraged to arrive by 1pm on Thursday in order to participate in our introductory programs.
Examples of optional workshops to be offered on Thursday from 1-4 pm include the following: Braver Angels Debates, Red/Blue Workshop, Depolarizing Within Workshop, Skills Workshop, Advanced Moderator Training with Bill Doherty, and more.
Delegates should plan to attend the entire Convention. Those needing to attend religious services on Friday, Saturday, or Sunday are most welcome to do so.
Delegates should plan to arrive and check-in sometime between 9am and 5pm on Thursday, May 28th in order to pick up their keys and Convention materials. Registration will close at 5pm. Delegates arriving late may experience difficulty checking in.
