Host Organization: Braver Angels

Join us each Wednesday from 5-6pm PT (8-9pm ET) to learn about the responsibilities and rewards of being a Braver Angels event organizer. Starting on the first Wednesday, each week has a different focus and you will be able to ask questions and get support from experienced BA Organizers. Once you have completed the 4 week series of training, you will meet with an Organizer trainer to review your progress and complete your BA certification.
What is a Braver Angels Organizer?
Organizers form, lead, and work with teams to plan and produce Braver Angels workshops, debates and other events.
What are the Qualifications for Becoming an Organizer?
Being well-organized, detail-oriented, and having good people skills. There are many details to track and lots of people (and sometimes organizations) involved. The organizer needs to keep everything and everyone moving forward in the same direction, ensure that all necessary tasks are completed on time, keep all team members informed and engaged, and be flexible and maintain sense of humor.
Organizing online events also requires good computer skills and access to a reliable internet connection.
